Maximum Solution Concentration
Many labels for chemigation specify a maximum concentration in the irrigation lines to prevent corrosion or other problems. This calculates the solution concentration in the irrigation water during chemigation. Learn more about the units used on this page. The Equation
Use this equation to determine the solution concentration during chemigation.
Where:
= Solution concentration in the irrigation lines as a percent.
= Injection rate of the chemical in gallons per hour (gph)
= Flow rate of the irrigation water in gallons per minute (gpm)
