Lawn Water Management
If you don't know your daily water use, you can research your state's crop water use information. AgriMet provides a list of crop water use charts for Idaho, Montana, Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, and Wyoming. Choose your state, then choose a location from your state's list. Then use the daily water use value from the "Lawn" row in the Estimated Crop Water Use table. AgriMet provides crop water use charts during April through October.
